The Wyoming Department of Education, Special Education Programs, is pleased to host a community of practice, Simple and Effective Evidence-based Practices that Improve Behavior and Increase Outcomes for All Students, to support educators in implementing classroom structures to improve student functional and behavioral outcomes for all students led by Christine Manning, Manning Behavior Consultants. This community of practice is designed to support building teams by way of collaboration with administrators, general education teachers, special education teachers, case managers, and behavior support staff. Workshops will cover evidence-based practices to improve student behavior and academic outcomes for all students. Step by step guidance will be provided to ensure participants have the tools necessary for efficient and effective implementation. Short case studies will be provided to support problem-solving and effective team collaboration.
Sessions are targeted for both primary and secondary educators to best facilitate content and discussion; however, you may register for both the primary and secondary sessions, if desired. All sessions will be virtual.
